FMYC 2017 will be a phenomenal event for your youth group June 26-30 at Colorado State University. Every few years, the Free Methodist Church hosts an incredible event that is filled with opportunities for 8th-12th grade students to encounter God. Whether a student is a diehard FMYC regular or a first-time participant, this is a tremendous experience for the teens of your church. The theme, “Relentless,” will have students examining their journey with Christ. Mornings and evenings will be packed with multiple guest speakers, breakout seminars, intense worship, heart-pounding recreation, global service opportunities and much more. Registration is currently open and more information can be found by visiting fmyc2017.com.
Phil Manginelli will return to FMYC as the main stage speaker. Manginelli is an amazingly gifted speaker, pastor, husband and father whose passion for the kingdom of God shines immensely whenever he shares. His infectious approach to sharing the truth of God’s Word will challenge students to a deeper commitment in relentlessly pursuing the God of the Universe.
FMYC also will feature Lacey Sturm who has earned legions of fans worldwide not only through her astoundingly emotive voice and chart-topping songwriting, but also for the sheer sincerity of the uplifting messages pervading her work. Whether fronting multimillion-selling hard rockers Flyleaf or now as a solo artist, author and speaker, she remains uncommonly true to herself while inspiring others to strive for better ways to live and love.
Another addition to FMYC is the Skit Guys. Tommy Woodard and Eddie James have been best friends since high school. Think of them as the wise guys in class who had everyone laughing and managed to make a career out of it. They’ve been teaching God’s Word using comedy and drama (and whatever category talking action figures fit into) for more than 20 years.
