If you’re looking for an event certain to grow the youth of your church in both their walk with Jesus and their commitment to serving Him through your church, the 2019 General Conference Youth Summit is exactly what you’re looking for. It’ll be July 16-19, 2019, at the Caribe Royale Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
FM:Infuse, the national Free Methodist youth ministry, is producing a four-day youth track happening at the same time and place as General Conference 2019. Each of the four days will begin with worship and message for middle school and high school students. The rest of the day will be spent in events to build up youth in their walk with the Lord and equip them for serving Him in their schools, neighborhoods and churches. Of course, there will also be lots of time for fun and building new friendships. One of the days will include an off-site trip to an Orlando attraction. The youth will join adults attending GC19 for evening worship, where more than 3,000 people are expected to join in praising the Lord of the universe. There will be a special track for youth who want to delve deeply into developing leadership skills.
All events are included in the $119 registration fee for General Conference. Lodging and food are additional. For churches who want to send their youth group, packages are available for shared housing at between $100 and $200 per person for the five nights, depending upon how many stay in the same suite. There is also a four-day food package available for $180 per person, or your youth group can arrange its own off-site lodging and meals.
