Hal is from Santa Barbara, California. He is passionate about sharing the love of Christ throughout the world. Hal serves as chairman.
Barb is from Hillsboro, Illinois. She works in her local church as well as at Greenville College. She serves as the Board of Administration secretary.
Rob is from Vestal, New York. He serves as the pastor of New Life West in Owego, New York. Rob is the vice chairman of the Board of Administration.
Susan is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Susan, the president of the Positive Tomorrows school for homeless children, has a call to serve the poor and the disenfranchised. She chairs the Legal Committee.
Brad serves as the superintendent of the East Michigan Conference. Brad previously served as missions mobilizer and interfaced with leaders across the United States and internationally. Brad serves on the Budget and Finance Committee.
Moises is from Rancho Cucamonga, California. Moises currently serves two multiethnic congregations and is actively engaged in his city to bridge the gaps in ethnic and socioeconomic diversity. He currently serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Cheri is from Rancho Cucamonga, California. Cheri is an elder and educator working with verterans and students from multiple denominations and faith groups. She serves on the Affiliate Partnership Committee.
John is from Laurel, Maryland. John is an attorney who has served on church, conference and denominational boards and committees for more than 25 years. He serves on the Legal Committee.
Amy is from Bedford, Indiana. Amy is an attorney who has a passion to work with broken people in her community. She serves on the Affiliate Partnership Committee.
Byron is from the Woodlands, Texas. Byron has held numerous offices at the church, conference and denominational levels. Byron is the chair of the Budget and Finance Committee.
Bishop David Kendall
Bishop Kendall was elected to the office of bishop in May 2005. He previously served as conference superintendent of the Great Plains Conference from 1999–2005. Prior to 1999, he pastored churches in the Great Plains and Southern Michigan conferences for 16 years. He gives oversight to the conferences in the Central Area of the United States.
Jeff lives in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He serves as superintendent for the Mid-America Conference. He is also an associate professor at St. Gregory’s University teaching theology, ethics and humanities. He serves as the chair of the Affiliate Partnership Committee.
Ed lives in Clarklake, Michigan. Ed has served on the Board of Administration for eight years. He has visited missions fields. He serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Darlene lives in Hilton, New York. She is an ordained elder and a visionary leader with strong administrative skills. She serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Melinda resides in Eagle, Idaho. She has a passion for serving the poor and a strong desire to help the broken and disenfranchised people she meets. She serves on the Budget and Finance Committee.
Lisa lives in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. She has held positions within and outside Free Methodism. She serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Bishop David Roller
Bishop Roller has served as bishop since 2007. At the time of his election, he was serving as Free Methodist World Missions’ Latin America Area director. He served 10 years as area director for Latin America and 17 years as missionary to Mexico. He serves eleven conferences in the Eastern area of the United States.
Dana resides in Butler, Pennsylvania. He has maintained leadership roles throughout the past 20 years within the church as well as local and national organizations. Dana serves on the Legal Committee.
Al resides in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He is an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church. Al serves on the Affiliate Partnership Committee.
Bishop Matt Thomas
Bishop Thomas was elected bishop in 2007. He previously served as superintendent for the Columbia River Conference (which merged with the River Conference in 2010). He has been an active part of the Free Methodist Church since 1979, serving in a variety of roles that include pastor, church planter, missionary, superintendent and bishop.
Anna Alexandra Soto
Alex lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She serves on her local church BOA and the conference Ministerial Education and Guidance Board. She serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Charles lives in Lansing, Michigan. Charles is an associate dean at Western Michigan University – Cooley law school. Charles is chair of the Benefits Committee.
Mike resides in Turner, Oregon. He serves in his local church. He leads the finance committee at his church and also serves on the Board of Administration of the Oregon Conference. He serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Mark Van Valin
Mark resides in Spring Arbor, Michigan. He is an ordained elder and leads the denomination’s Disciple Deeply strategy team. Mark serves on the Missions Catalyst Committee.
Matt resides in Seattle, Washington. He has been the Pacific Northwest superintendent since 2000. He has served on numerous committees in the Free Methodist Church as well as being a board member of Seattle Pacific University. Matt is chair of the Nominating Committee and serves on the Budget and Finance Committee.
