About The Author

Paul Livermore

An ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church, Paul W. Livermore has served in the pastorate for 17 years and in academic settings for 15. Presently the George L. Skinner professor of religion at Roberts Wesleyan College, Livermore studied under J. Christiaan Beker and Bruce M. Metzger for his Ph.D. from Princeton Seminary in 1978 following his studies at Asbury Theological Seminary for his M.Div. degree. He and his wife, Alice, are the proud parents of a son and daughter.
