The above brochure will answer most of your questions regarding our June 27th to June 30th Chaplain Professional Development Training. New chaplains will want to know that all the meals and lodging at the Lake Junaluska Conference Center, NC site are provided without charge to all FMCA Chaplains and Spouse/Guests.
This is a $20K benefit item that comes from your contributions to the Chaplains Account. You do have your own transportation expenses to cover and the registration fee for each adult attending. Registration cost $125 per person. We do have a number $200 scholoarships available for part time and volunteer chaplains (let me know if you need one). I will be your point of contact for registering.
Chaplain Fletcher Simpson will be our contact person if you need info on transportation options. Most people who fly in to one of the four available airports chose to rent a car for three days and drive to Lake Junaluska – since the van shuttle transportation costs $25 per person one way. We can help each other save costs by sharing travel plans with “Fletch” and doubling up on our rides from and to the airport(s).
