In modern society, people often look to the media to define which candidates are worthy of voting for, however having the media to tell the collective what to think or believe is wrong. The media often focuses attention on candidates with whom they agree or highlight a candidate who has a shock or awe approach or who is scandalous. A candidate worthy of our vote is not someone like the aforementioned; that candidate should be much more. A candidate is a person who has made, and who will make, an impact on our world in a positive way. As Christians, we should consider B. T. Roberts’ words about voting: “…not just for the party, but for candidates whose positions and character were most consistent with Christian beliefs and the vision of the kingdom of God.” For more information, please read the full article “How B.T. Robert Voted” by Howard A. Snyder.
