The Free Methodist Church in Bad Axe, Michigan, is currently looking to hire a full-time Children’s Ministries Leader. Starting salary and benefits package will total just over $55,000 based on 36 hours/week.
Personal qualifications for this job will include:
-Must be a born-again disciple of Jesus Christ
-Must have a heart for God, Children, and the Church
-Must have previous experience in working directly with children
along with experience in building and leading a team
-Undergrad degree and training related to children preferred
-Must submit to a background check prior to employment

We need leadership to help forge a new, fresh, and innovative direction for children’s ministries in and through the church. The expectation is that this person will lead, organize, and build a team which will engage children ages birth through 6th grade in ongoing, strategic, innovative, and enthusiastic ministry. This leader will also build bridges to parents and families of children, working in conjunction with other church staff and leadership in ministering effectively to families and connected individuals.
This leader will be accountable to the Sr. Pastor and to the Pastor’s Team. They will be an active participant on the Christian Education Team. They must also be available to serve in other capacities as gifted, needed, and directed.
