This position of Senior Chaplain of Heritage Ministries will need to be filled by a Free Methodist Elder. The responsibilities include coverage for 3 nursing homes (435 residents), 3 assisted living campuses (124 residents), and 3 independent living campuses (246 residents). Of course there are the families of our residents to whom we also give attention as well as those who serve as staff (778 staff members). The Senior Chaplain works with 3 other part-time Chaplains to oversee this work. As you can imagine there are many opportunities for preaching and counseling. The Senior Chaplain is also an important member of the overall Administrative Team.
