A nation-wide community of Christ-followers from the FMC family, dedicated to seeking the LORD persistently, diligently, and passionately for spiritual renewal, defeat of the enemy’s ways, the flourishing of the Gospel in our regions, and full manifestation of Christ’s mission to seek and save the lost. Our unification in hearing what God is saying, and responding across our land in unified prayer, will come from regularly receiving what our people are hearing from God, and regularly distributing ways and means to intercede in harmony with God’s will.
Like an aerial photo from 20,000 feet above the earth, the National Intercessors Network will intentionally focus on the issues that are broader in scope than our usual prayers for very local, specific needs. Because we believe and trust that God has His people covering one another in prayer continually for the specific needs of specific individuals in specific locations, we will not be amassing needs lists from varying locations. Instead, we will be focusing on the voice of Jesus, seeking what He is seeing and saying. We purpose to give voice to His will, praying for the broad-scope issues that greatly affect our regions, nation and world… issues holding us back from experiencing the renewal we know is possible when people respond positively to the Gospel.
How has the LORD been speaking to you? Does your heart yearn to see renewal in our communities, regions, nation and world? Is the Holy Spirit asking you to intercede, giving voice to His will in prayer, crying out to Him for renewal in our day? Have you caught the vision for intercession in a way that has captivated your heart and mind? God is likely calling you to the join in a nationwide voice of prayer that is uniquely new to the FMCUSA family… the National Intercessors Network.
As we pray, interceding for our regions, nation, and world, we will join not only our voices, but also our faith as we expectantly pray. God will answer. He will hear us. As we do, we must be ready to deny self to make room for such a ministry. We must be like Hannah who had come to the end of herself, unwilling to accept barrenness as her reality, and sought the One who could truly do something about it. Are you ready to engage?
Tell us what God is saying to you.
Our belief is that God is already speaking to many individuals in locations scattered all over our nation. He is revealing His desires for healed, flourishing communities. He is giving people His words, visions, burdens and heart, leading people to pray very specifically for regions, communities, the nation and the world. At www.npmfmc.org/nin you will be able to submit the insights you are receiving from our LORD, and describe how you are asking the community to intercede.

Commit to intercede for the things you receive from us.
A periodic prayer guide will be distributed via email, providing all participants with collective ways that we can join together, interceding to give voice to the will of God in unison. You will do so, knowing that others from all throughout our FMC family are unified in prayer. As resources allow, our vision is to further expand ways to communicate and gather, both through the use of technology and in person to pray in unity.

Called

You know that God has called you to stand in prayer for the deep needs of our world in this generation, and you’re ready to pray. You see brokenness with Kingdom eyes and hear the cries of the oppressed. You know where the answers lie. You yearn for a deep renewal and revival for this generation.

Intentional

Intercession at this level is not like the average prayer meeting of sharing personal needs and saying the usual prayers. Our focus is outside ourselves, targeting a large geography and deep needs. Our prayers are likened to the travail of birth pains and our cry is for renewal… revival … awakening!

Committed

We pray “until,” meaning we cry out until the reality of renewal is manifest in our day. We actually pray, not just voice our intention. The ‘ask” is to prayerfully engage with what is being distributed to the network, and listen for what the Spirit is saying as you pray, being diligent and faithful to regular participation.
