Leadership Conference for Immigrant Pastors

The Acts 12:24 Churches‘ first orientation conference for immigrant pastors was held in Alexandria, Virginia, for pastoral leaders from Central Africa and India.  The conference was planned by Chris Pulice, Doug Cross, Myller Olivio and Howard Olver.  The Alexandria Free Methodist Church hosted the event and provided the meals and lodging.

Angels of Destiny to Feature ‘Ghostbusters’ Actor

Deaconess Pregnancy & Adoption will hold its 10th annual Angels of Destiny dinner Aug. 24 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The event will feature actor Ernie Hudson — the co-star of the original “Ghostbusters” and its sequel along with many other movies and TV shows such as the new Fox series “APB.”
