General Conference 2019 Offers Tools for Everyone

GC19 is the greatest resourcing and networking event for Free Methodist pastors and church leaders in at least four years. The conference opens with a keynote address from Ed Stetzer, the executive director of the Billy Graham Center and the former executive director of Lifeway Research). Stetzer will give insights into trends in church attendance, church planting, revitalization and innovation. Other main-stage presentations during the week will focus on discipleship, evangelism and worship.

Focus groups will afford attendees the chance to hear about best practices and to participate in discussion on the following topics:

* Building a healthy church
* Children’s ministries
* Justice issues and our social witness
* Church planting
* The recalibration systems currently turning around Free Methodist churches
* Stewardship and resourcing your church
* Leadership development
* Spiritual revitalization
* Global transformation and missions
* Multicultural, biblical reconciliation
* Engaging the culture

There will be top-notch programs for children and youth every day of General Conference. These will be provided from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. They include care or programs for:
* nursery
* kids out of diapers but not yet in kindergarten
* kids going into kindergarten through fifth grade
* middle school
* high school youth

The programs and nursery are included in registration (and there is no registration fee for children under 3 years old). And no family will pay a registration fee for more than four people. GC19 will be a family event where the whole family can grow in their walk with Jesus and be equipped for the life mission to which He calls them.
