Jerry Doran Mottweiler was born Aug. 31, 1935, in Evansville, Illinois, to Vernon and Mildred Mottweiler. He went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, Nov. 14.

A memorial service to honor the lives of the Rev. Philip and Lois Myette — both of whom served the Free Methodist Church in various roles — will be held at the Winona Lake (Indiana) Free Methodist Church, 902 College Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept., 18, 2015. Church Gives Shoes to Kids

The River Free Methodist Church in Mesick, Michigan, received coverage by television news reporters from ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates in northern Michigan for giving more than 300 pairs of new shoes to local children.
