Greenville College to Transition to Greenville University

Greenville College announced Dec. 18 that, at the Greenville College Board of Trustees’ meeting in November, the trustees unanimously approved the transition of the institution’s name from Greenville College to Greenville University. The Global Wesleyan Alliance meets at the World Ministries Center.

The Global Wesleyan Alliance convened its fourth annual meeting Dec. 5-6 at the Free Methodist World Ministries Center in Indianapolis.

Eleven of the 12 covenant members were present to hear reports, review vision and strategy for 2015, elect officers, appoint the executive director, approve the budget for 2015, and hear presentations by special guests.

Good News on the Pastors’ Housing Allowance

The Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled last week to strike down the decision of a Wisconsin District Court, which had declared the Pastors’ Housing Allowance unconstitutional.
