Movements catch on because anyone can be involved — both professional and lay members are valued equally. This empowerment is what takes passion viral. In the years following the founding of the Free Methodist Church this spirit of empowerment for all people quickly took our movement across the country and around the world. Today the denomination continues to empower people to follow the call of Christ no matter who they are. We maintain balance in leadership and strive to create opportunities for every person to answer God’s call and change the world in Jesus’ name.
