Step into a sacred space where Free Methodists from all over Michigan unite with one heartbeat—to seek God’s presence and unleash His transforming love across our state. Across two unforgettable days we’ll pray and fast together, raise our voices in vibrant worship, soak in Spirit‑led teaching, and discover creative ways to carry Christ’s hope to our communities. Elders and delegates are already preparing to attend, but we sense God’s call to widen the circle: Who is the emerging leader in your church that needs this spark of inspiration and practical resourcing? Bring them with you, and let’s lean forward—generation alongside generation—believing that as we encounter Jesus afresh, He will saturate Michigan with His light.

Creating a Saturated Love-driven Justice Community:
Join us as we explore how to view our communities as people to love, not just projects to fix. In our workshop, we will examine how to identify your ‘get’ in becoming a justice-formed and informed church while reimagining the creation of saturated Love-Driven Justice communities.

Fraser Venter
Strategic Catalyst for Love-Driven Justice
For 30 years, Fraser served in multilingual, multi-site congregations. In addition to his pastoral role, he was the Co-Superintendent in Southern California.
Fraser earned his Master’s and Doctorate from Azusa Pacific University, along with a Master of Justice and Advocacy from Fuller Seminary. Additionally, Fraser is a certified facilitator and trainer in Cultural Intelligence and Unconscious Bias, as well as a certified coach in Flourishing in Ministry and Emotional Intelligence.
When it comes to family, Fraser’s claim to fame is that he “married up”—a truth that remains true after 33 years of marriage to his wife, JoAnne. They are proud parents of four adult children, two by birth and two by love. He has now graciously joined the ‘grandparent’ club with the arrival of his first grandchild, Gabriel William Marble.
Mentoring Leaders Towards Multiplicative Impact in the Church
Jesus mentored 12 men towards multiplication and his methods continue to have exponential impact in the Church today. How did he mentor leaders towards empowerment and fruitfulness? This workshop will focus on how to gather leaders and disciple them towards their sweet spot of empowerment that leads to a multiplication of leaders for Kingdom impact.

Deb Walkemeyer
Co-Strategic Catalyst for Multiplication
Dr. Deb Walkemeyer serves as Strategic Catalyst for Multiplication and on the National Leadership Team of the Free Methodist Church USA. She also serves as Global Pastor of the nationally recognized, Light & Life Christian Fellowship—a missional, multi-ethnic, multiplying church which Deb and her husband Larry led for 31 years. Deb is a speaker, author, Master Gardener, community leader, Marriage/Family therapist, and business owner.
Saturating the State with Fresh Expressions
The future of the church isn’t confined to a building—it’s unleashed through everyday believers living on mission. In this dynamic workshop, Peyton Jones will challenge and inspire leaders to prioritize disciple-making. When believers are empowered to live as missionaries in their everyday spaces, fresh expressions of the church naturally emerge—whether in coffee shops, workplaces, neighborhoods, or beyond.

Reaching GenZ
Gen-Z & The Gospel: Gen Z won’t come if they don’t trust you. How, then, do we build that trust? In this seminar, we will unpack how to build trust with young people primarily by looking at 3 subgroups: the unchurched, those hurt by the church, and those deconstructing.

Jordan Allen
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Jordan Allen serves with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as the Assistant Regional Director of External Partnerships as well as the Campus Minister for Michigan State University and Lansing Community College. Jordan lives in East Lansing, a couple blocks from MSU’s campus, with his wife, 2 dogs and 2 cats.
The Empowerment Factor – Building Your Personal Multiplication Capacity
Every believer has profound kingdom potential IF they understand the “Empowerment Factor” and how to build their “PMC – Personal Multiplication Capacity”. There is a certain way of thinking, living, leading and ministering that dramatically changes the impact your life and ministry will have. Jesus, Barnabas, Paul, Wesley, Mears, Bright and Trotman lived it and so can we. Learning how to live the “empowered life that empowers others” is the key. This workshop introduces a self-diagnostic tool and teaches essential principles to take your personal multiplication capacity to a whole new level, whether you’re a megachurch pastor or children’s ministry worker.
